Is Vincent Gallo really making my favorite Jim Thompson book, Savage Night, into a movie? I’d probably see that.

Waiting for N to get off work so we can see Grindhouse in luxury and for free. Killing time by watching Shellac clips on youtube and realized this would make an ideal Twitter post (“killing time by watching shellac clips on youtube”), but I’m confused about that site: it just seems to encourage people to write in sentence fragments about really boring things of interest only to the author and/or his stalkers. [note: ran into Nathan in the theater's bathroom.]

Somehow I watch crap movies these days [less Herzog/more crap]. I even went out of my way after reading the boring and poorly written The Perfect Storm to rent the movie that goes by the same title. It too was boring and the whole thing looked shot on a very wet set. Half a star!!

Somehow the 2006 remake of The Omen ended up in our DVD player. Julia Stiles? Something called a “Liev Schreiber”? What were we thinking? We watched 1/2 of it and then let it sit on our tv for 14 days. Oof! Think of the late fees!
