Things are progressing with an unheard of round of thumbs up, so I watched The Replacements, which I usually do when I want a pick-me-up, but now I just did it for the fun of it. While it is a flawed movie (the very fast-forwardable love subplot; 80% of the jokes don’t work), it does contain some Gene Hackman chestnuts.

Alert reader Alexa informed me about a film that combines my love of sheep and New Zealand accents: Black Sheep. I mostly wanted to write about it so I could post a screenshot of their video player, which has a cute sheep shape as the “you are here” marker. I appreciate this innovation in video technology.
