This was a very agreeable bread to make: very forgiving to work with and it only took one day of prep time. I was lazy and opted not to construct the cinnamon swirl, an oversight that will never happen again.

New favorite cereal
Fiber One packs in the fiber. I like that. Decent fiber-related web site too. I like that.
Mission of Burma
Yesterday was so beautiful and perfect out. It was one of those days where everything was infused with the spirit of greatness and everything I listened to put me in a fantastic mood. However, it made me very aware that I’m long overdue to buy the Mission of Burma reunion doc.
Pane Siciliano
After a few days prep time, some pane Siciliano came out of the oven not as delicious as it looked. It was a fine accompaniment to salad, but there were certain steps that I could have done better (not going to sleep without shaping the dough, for instance). It’s almost too dense, but it will make a fine toast.
To celebrate, we went to Spats and had drinks that sat on a bed of dry ice.
And drinks that were more like a bowl of frozen fruit.
